Repairs
Our experienced mechanics are always on hand to offer advice, and repair problems you are having with your bike. Whether it's a punctured tyre or a complete service we'll always have the parts and the expertise to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
Our shop is unique in having a large stock of both new and second hand parts to offer our customers value for money as well as an excellent personal service. We offer a £25 and £45 service if you're looking for an MOT style overhaul, or alternatively smaller jobs are priced up individually.
Where possible we try to turn repairs round on the day they are booked in. For more information about reserving a slot for a bicycle repair or details of our pricing structure for specific jobs feel free to email James:
Custom bike builds
Custom bike builds are one way of getting the bike of your dreams, or the bike to suit your budget.
You can ask us to build it or take advantage of our offer of workshop access on a Tuesday night by signing up as a cycling club member to build it yourself. All with our experienced staff close on hand to offer advice and support.
What's more our bike recycling programme gives us access to some unexpected, obscure and interesting bicycle frames and parts, to compliment the wide range of new components and frames we can offer. We regularly have Reynolds 531 frames that make fabulous fixed gear conversions if you are looking for a nice simply bike for city riding or fancy giving bike polo or an Oxford alleycat a try.
So what ever you're looking for, if you've got the vision, we'll do our best to make that a reality.
If you're curious to explore the custom built bike options, the parts bin page can be a good place to start looking for interesting components. Alternatively drop into the shop or shoot Sean an email:
Mobile mechanics
Getting important repairs carried out on your bike if you've got a 9 to 5 job can be difficult when we open 9.30 until 6 on week days*.
Offering employers opportunities to support their staff in cycling to work is a really important project for us and our mobile mechanic is a key part of the support we offer.
Totally pedal powered, and fully equipped to carry out most repairs, our mobile mechanics can be booked for one off events, pool bike fleet maintenance or used to establish a weekly on site bike fix surgery for you workforce.

Workshop Access
We firmly believe the wonders of a working bicycle shouldn't be veiled in mystery. To reflect this we offer members of our partner cycling club access to our workshop space, tools and wonderful mechanics on a Tuesday night.
So between 6.30 and 9pm on Tuesday evenings our workplace becomes your kingdom of learning and fettling.
We would recommend you have some knowledge of cycle maintenance before attending members nights. For courses to introduce you to cycle maintenance skills why not check out our partner training organisation's website.
